Attachment B – Trustee Report
Trustee Meeting – July 14, 2010 (with updates for items completed as of Aug 9)
The Trustees met with all 8 members present.
Items that were completed that relate to the new building addition:
- · Made eve of new addition same width as old (caused by differences in roof pitch)
- · Added additional vents at top of gable on each end – requested by Codes Inspector
- · Added drain for downspout to go to Sandusky Road
- · Added vent to gable of Sanctuary – by Contractor at no extra cost
- · Design of brick around emblem changed to actuate the emblem
- · Builder installed emblem without background painting – decision was made to leave as is (no background paint)
- · Water line was re-routed from under old Fellowship Hall and Addition
- · Existing Fellowship Hall has been repainted by Contractor
These items were made as recommendations by the Trustees at the meeting.
- · Repair toilet and toilet floor in lady’s bathroom -- Completed
- · Floors in existing Fellowship Hall should be stripped and re-waxed and floors in new addition will need waxing -- Completed
- · Additional blinds for the windows – purchased and installed
- · Book shelves for the storage space above the new return duct – Completed
- · Storage shelves will be built for the storage closet in the classroom area -- Completed
- · An awning for the door that leads to Sandusky Road – Checking further with suppliers.
- · Plaque for the new building addition to honor Wayne Lentz – To be Purchased
- · Increase our insurance policy to cover the addition – Additional amount $128,000 in place
- · Pay the amount to open and remove contents from Lockbox – Completed. Move contents to First Community Bank – To be completed.
- · A tank was purchased from Southern Propane, Columbia Tennessee at a cost of $985. Future purchase of propane was booked with Southern Propane for 1,300 gallons. The purchase agreement is at a price of $1.39/gallon until March 31, 2011 and payment is as gas is received instead of payment upfront. Irby volunteered to monitor our usage, and we will be on a regular route.
An update was given on the Church property survey and preparation of the Church Deed -- John T. Bobo’s Law Office has completed the deed at no cost and it has been recorded with the Registrar of Deeds. This completes the Corporation requirements.
Furnishing of the classrooms is being provided by Lucy Lynn Adams McLean in honor of her Sunday School Teacher, Juliette Turrentine. Included are book shelves, cabinets, bulletin boards, tables, chairs and window treatments for each room. -- Completed

Trustee Meeting - August 9, 2010
The Trustees met just before the Church Council Meeting and reported on the following recommendations:
- · Purchase a Fire Proof Box and keep here at the Church
- · Obtain quotes on Bug/Termite Control for 2011
- · Obtain quotes for addition awning on new outside door (Sandusky Road)
- · Brent reported on new addition. We are basically complete except for floor insulation that Code’s Inspector says is required. We will contact the architect and request a letter to support leaving the building as is without the insulation.
- · A donation of one round table and ten chairs was made by Boone and Emogene Brandon for the fellowship hall.
